About 

Shabeeb Mohammed is a contemporary architect with over a decade of experience, currently Co-Founder and Principal Architect of Layers Architecture, following his role as Creative Design Lead at Shape Architecture Practice, UAE. His career spans NAGA Architects Dubai, M:OFA New Delhi, Evolving Radical Aesthetics Calicut, and his own venture, AGE Designs.

His work has earned recognition across the Middle East and India: Winner, Architecture Leaders Awards 2023 (Museum of Energy & Infrastructure); shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival Awards 2024 and Design Middle East Awards 2022–24 (Shees Friday Market, 3-Star Hotel Sharjah, Museum of Infrastructure Excellence); Highly Commended, Design Middle East Sustainable Project 2024; nominated, ArchDaily Building of the Year 2025; and shortlisted among India's top 60 architects, IIA National Awards 2016.

Specializing in concept design, Shabeeb has delivered impactful solutions for esteemed clients such as The Executive Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai RTA, Sharjah Mubadara, ECRD (Emirates Council of Rural Development, UAE), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE. His exceptional design leadership has led to numerous awards for his projects, enhancing the reputation of both his work and the firms he has been part of.
