Dhaid Fort Mosque

The Dhaid Fort Mosque stands beside the historic Al Dhaid Fort, one of the cultural landmarks of Sharjah. Designed as a modern reconstruction of a traditional mosque, the project reflects the architectural language of the region through simplicity, texture, and proportion.

The design revives the essence of Emirati heritage, with thick plastered walls, wooden latticework, and finely detailed openings, reinterpreted in a contemporary way. Its calm geometry and soft interplay of light and shadow create a quiet space of reflection, rooted in the memory of place.
