The Date Factory Pavilion

A fusion of tradition and innovation, this landmark project in Dubai unites a fully functional date factory with an immersive museum. Conceived as part of the UAE government’s 1 Billion Meals initiative, the design celebrates the palm tree, a timeless symbol of sustenance and generosity in the region.
The architecture draws inspiration from the rhythm and structure of palm fronds. The central façade unfolds like a grove of abstracted palms, with sculptural canopies branching upward to form a shaded, welcoming arrival space. Crafted in warm golden tones, the building harmonizes technology and culture, production and exhibition, transforming a place of making into a place of meaning.
