Reimagining the mosque through local craft and light
The Nose redefines the language of religious architecture through simplicity, honesty, and material expression. Rooted in local craft and culture, the design replaces ornamental excess with purity and purpose.
Built with terracotta, clay tiles, and perforated brick screens, the mosque celebrates texture, light, and air. The minaret rises as a sculptural gesture of faith, while the spaces within invite quiet reflection and community connection.
Rather than replicating tradition, the project reinterprets it — creating an architecture that feels spiritual yet grounded, contemporary yet timeless
